There are two sewer system projects being proposed this year. The first project is 9th Avenue Sewerline Replacement Project. This project will replace a failing mainline that runs from 9th Avenue to the Christ Center parking lot. It is anticipated that this project will cost $50,000. This project is scheduled for late summer of 2021. It is also anticipated that this project will take three weeks.
The second project is to inspect the 9th Avenue Sewer Basin. These inspections are accomplished with City owned TV equipment and staff time. The City’s sewer system is currently broken into 10 sewer basins. Every year the City inspects one to two basins.
