The City has several miles of bike trails that it maintains. As a part of this year’s Fiscal Budget, staff is proposing three different projects. The first of the three projects is the bike path that is on Timothy Street near the park. Due to the deferred maintenance on this trail, the City will be overlaying the entire path. It is anticipated to cost $15,000. The second project is the widening of the path on 13th Avenue. This will bring the path to the standard width of other paths in town. It is anticipated to cost $8,000. The third project is to install lighting on the bike path that connects Juniper Street to Magnolia Street. It is anticipated to cost $10,000.
